Welcome to Pixel Cubed, my online portfolio of graphic design works. The title refers to the use of computer technology in my artwork. Nearly all of the works on this page were created with the aid of computer software. When working on a graphic design project, I attempt to balance the technology required to create a good design with artistic principles to make that design compelling.

My name is Logan Kelly, and I am a professional graphic designer who resides near Houston, Texas. I am attending graduate school at University of Houston Clear Lake in pursuit of a degree in Digital Media Studies and working as a freelance graphic designer. I am proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Macromedia Flash and Dreamweaver, and the 3D software Maya. I also write code in C++, Java, HTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript, and Actionscript. To produce traditional art I prefer to use pencils, charcoal, pens, markers, or oil paint. I occasionally sculpt in both water-based and oil-based clay. Most of the photos for my graphic design work were taken by me, but I use the camera as a tool to aid in design rather than as its own medium.

I coded and designed this site using Photoshop, Illustrator, Notepad, and Dreamweaver. The markup is valid XHTML 1.0 Strict, and the CSS is valid CSS 2.1. This site has been successfully tested for accessibility in Firefox 1.5 and 2.0, Mozilla 1.7.13, Internet Explorer 6+ (Windows), Netscape 8.1.2, Opera 9.10, and Swift 0.2.
